Subject: March of Dimes Baby Walk

Hello All,
Just a note to let you all know that EL CERT was represented at the Baby Walk held in Safety Harbor this morning. I was there not as a walker but as part of the communications team. We were assigned to checkin stations along the route that distributed water, snacks and handouts. Our job was to keep the people in charge of the event informed of the progress/location of the walkers, safety of the walkers, call for extra supplies if needed and last but not least to call for EMS if needed. This time a walker did go down with an ankle injury and the line of communication worked as it should. The mood was festive and it was rewarding as well as fun!
